A book could fly in and open to blank pages. Home page text could appear on top of the open book (similar to Joshua Essoe).
Another idea for displaying the poppies and desert scenes on this version: have them appear to be photos that are taped to the bookshelves. As you sit at the desk, you look over the top of the laptop and see the photos. Or pinned to a bulletin board, or taped to a white board off to the right. Could even make a whiteboard with strings like a crime show, propped on an easel off to the side.
This one is genre-based and the sci-fi and calligraphic pen would need to be replaced. I just made screen caps of them to fill out the space.

Again there would be something flying in from the side to hold the home page text. I’d prefer to find an old photo with actual scalloped edges if we go with this idea.
Here, the bricks would fly in, carrying the home page text.
